10-INSTITUT NATIONAL DE RECHERCHE POUR L’AGRICULTURE, L’ALIMENTATION ET L’ENVIRONNEMENT (INRAE)

Partner description

INRAE is the new French Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment, created in January 2020 from the merger of 2 leading research institutes in agriculture in environment (INRA and Irstea). The Agroecology laboratory of the INRAE Dijon is made off 350 people among which 120 permanent researchers. One of the departments of the Agroecology laboratory studies the biology and ecosystemic functions of soils. In particular, researchers of this department are specialized in the ecotoxicological assessment of agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals residues on soil microorganisms and supported functions. They conduct their researches following two main directions aiming to characterize of the effects of these contaminants on (i) the abundance, composition diversity of soil microorganisms (including some functional guilds) and (ii) the adaptation of soil microorganisms to accelerated biodegradation of agrochemical residues.

Partner role

Within the Minagris project, the researchers of the Agroecology laboratory will be involved in WP4 to characterize the ecotoxicological effect of MP/NP with or without other chemical stressors on the soil microbiota in lab-to-field experimental design and in WP6 to isolate and characterize pollutant-degraders from the plastisphere using -omic and culturomic approaches.

Persons involved

Fabrice Martin-Laurent (M)

Fabrice Martin-Laurent (M)

Director of Research (INRAE, Dijon). He is adjunct director of the Agroécologie laboratory (350 persons) and head of the BIOmE department (70 persons). He is working on soil microbial ecotoxicology of pollutants (pesticides and antibiotics) on two main axes: (i) pollutant risk assessment on soil microorganisms and (ii) adaptation of soil microorganisms to pollutants biodegradation. He has published 153 papers (H-index 37, 5264 citations).

 Aymé Spor (M)

Aymé Spor (M)

Researcher (INRAE Dijon). He is working under the direction of L Philippot and F. Martin-Laurent in the BIOmE department. His main interest is on the evolution of soil microbial diversity and functions under various selection pressures including exposure to pollutants. He has published 41 papers (H-index 21, 5562 citations).

Marion Devers-Lamrani (F)

Marion Devers-Lamrani (F)

Engineer of Research (INRAE, Dijon). She is working under the direction of F. Martin-Laurent in the BIOmE department. She is working on soil microbial ecotoxicology of pollutants (pesticides and antibiotics) mainly on the processes involved in the adaptation of soil microorganisms to pollutants biodegradation. She has published 40 papers (H-index 14, 495 citations ).

Jérémie Béguet (M)

Engineer of Research (INRAE, Dijon). He is working under the direction of F. Martin-Laurent in the BIOmE department. He is working on pollutant risk assessment on soil microorganisms. He has published 19 papers (H-index 10, 197 citations).
